This is an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Full Time Livestock Hauler to add to our team. CDL is preferred but not required, will train.
Barrick Family Farm, LLP has pork production sites located in the rural Fosston and Ada, MN areas. These are newly remodeled/constructed sites, breed to finish. The pork production and employees are managed by a management company out of Southern Minnesota, Protein Sources, LLP https://www.proteinsourcesmanagement.com/ in partnership with PIC https://www.pic.com/

Shift: Full-time day shift, Monday-Friday.
What you’ll do: Driving semi and fifth wheel trailers to deliver livestock to and from company locations.
Daily duties include:
- Daily livestock deliveries to barns sites in local and surrounding areas and to transfers to outside trucking to deliver to further destinations
- Load and unload livestock onto trailer
- General truck and trailer cleaning and maintenance
- Ensures that documentation and records are accurate and complete
- Performs related activities as directed
- Performs daily and routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to supervisor
- Follow all safety rules and practices and encourage coworkers to do the same
- Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, supervisors and customers
- Regular, consistent attendance
Requirements:
- Dedicated, dependable, goal-oriented, and motivated
- Capable of driving, walking, stopping, bending, performing repetitive motions, and lifting at least 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Capable of tolerating dust, animal dander, and normal farm odors and noise levels while using personal protective equipment (PPE)
