Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Instrumentation Technician with our Portals Underground Fixed Maintenance department. The successful candidate is responsible for b eing a team player adding to our already, diverse, yet rewarding working environment. The ideal candidate will possess a background in underground mining, and metals.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and effectively operator mining equipment
- Be expected to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years experience with underground instrumentation and electrical preferred
- Formal education in electrical and instrumentation required
- Possess strong knowledge/skills in instrumentation and electrical repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of complex surface and underground equipment required
- Ability to read complex prints and good understanding of electrical codes preferred
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills to repair all underground mobile and fixed mining equipment required
- Willingness to work in a team based maintenance organization required
- High voltage experience preferred
- Proven safe work record required
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
