Gold Mining Process Specialist

Job Overview
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a highly skilled Process Operator to join our Process Operations team. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various processing circuits and equipment, including grinding circuits, crushing circuits, carbon-in-leach systems, autoclaves, roasters, thickeners, boilers, water treatment systems, off-gas handling, reagent handling, electrowinning, retort/induction furnaces, solution balance, sample collection, data recording, retrieval of sample data, proper handling of potentially hazardous chemicals, monitoring/control of water and slurry flows, reagent addition, checking conveyors, pumps, valves, piping, and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular work area exams to identify substandard conditions that may pose a danger to personnel and take necessary corrective actions.
• Perform routine equipment inspections to identify potential safety hazards, environmental compliance risks, property damage, or equipment reliability issues.
• Conduct detailed equipment inspections as assigned, document deficiencies, and generate work requests.
• Maintain circuit operating parameters within designated limits.
• Evaluate and process sampling results according to defined procedures.
• Operate assigned circuits within specified standards to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and site regulations.
• Stop and start all components or equipment in the system.
• Apply process flows and equipment fundamentals to execute lockout/tagout and troubleshooting tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
