We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cortez Operations. As an integral member of our Maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mining equipment fleets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete routine maintenance tasks on mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to high housekeeping standards.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and participate in individual and group hazard identification processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of two years' experience in maintenance of mobile equipment or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- The ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A proven track record of maintaining a safe work environment.
