Job Responsibilities
As a Long Range Underground Engineer III, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating detailed phases of engineering work.
- Meeting with representatives of other departments to coordinate planning and scheduling activities.
- Performing work which involves conventional engineering practice but includes a variety of complex features.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a B.S. degree in Engineering and 5 years of experience in Underground Mine Planning. Ventilation experience is required, and minimum 3 years of mine design and scheduling is preferred.
Technical communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as expert knowledge in engineering and design. Mining or heavy mineral industry experience is required, and project management skills are preferred.
