Job Description
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a skilled Process Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our Process Maintenance team at Turquoise Ridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical and instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of power distribution centers, switchgear, motors, and controls, process controls, and instrumentation.
- Work shifts, overtime, and callouts as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Process Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience performing electrical and instrumentation duties.
- Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation circuits.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, and provide feedback.
- Some experience with PLC controls, troubleshooting, and programming, as well as experience with variable frequency drives.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Capable and willing to work with maintenance and operational teams.
- Good safety record and ability to work with various safety programs.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.
