About The Team
Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%) that combined our significant assets across Nevada in 2019 to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world. NGM produces approximately 3.5 million ounces of gold a year. The massive mining operation comprises eight mines along with their associated infrastructure and processing facilities and hosts three of Barrick’s Tier One assets: Carlin, Cortez, and Turquoise Ridge. Responsibilities
- Assigned job duties will vary depending on placement.
To be considered for this job opportunity, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a dependent of an NGM full-time employee as of the date of hire;
- Be between 18 and 25 years of age as of the date of hire and have successfully completed high school;
- Attended a post-secondary institution as a full-time student in Spring 2025, classified as a full-time student, and successfully completed the Spring 2025 semester with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (verification must be provided prior to hire);
- Be enrolled as a full-time student for the Fall 2025 semester;
- Successfully pass a pre-employment physical including drug & alcohol screening.
- Students whose previous summer employment was terminated for any reason other than returning to school are not eligible for rehire.
- Students who received a “no rehire” recommendation or an overall unsatisfactory evaluation in the last summer in which they were employed are not eligible for rehire.
- Students employed as eligible Summer Students in the Summer of 2024 who then did not attend school in the Spring of 2025 are not eligible for rehire.
