Shipping and Receiving

Barrier Technologies, a Davie, Florida based manufacturer of Medical Safety products has an immediate opportunity available for an experienced Warehouse Shipping & Receiving person to join our growing team.

This candidate will be responsible for the receipt of all inbound freight as well as processing all outbound shipments from our climate controlled warehouse.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining adequate inventory, and replenishing product required for our manufacturing processes. This team member will also be responsible for processing, picking, packing, staging, and shipping all orders to our Domestic & International customers.

Description of Duties:

• Process, package and ship orders accurately
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Inspect products for defects and/or damage
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments
• Organize warehouse space
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Check, verify and fill customer invoices
• Abide by all company safety regulations
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

Job Requirements:

• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs or move heavy objects
• Must be physically able to walk, bend, stand, crouch, and lift items for short periods of time
• Experience using UPS Worldship and FedEx Systems
• Ability to operate a desktop computer
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must speak English (Bi-lingual preferred)

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
