Account Manager

Sales and Marketing, Full Time

Summary :

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key large accounts, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure best-in-class customer service. Your goal will be to foster and maintain long-term relationships while driving account growth. Account Managers collaborate with Program Managers to support new product development and design transfer opportunities.

Functions & Responsibilities :

  • Represent client interests within the organization.
  • Build strong client relationships through regular communication.
  • Gather and analyze customer information to drive account growth.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with clients to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop quotes for new and existing products.
  • Create and manage schedules to support customer activities.
  • Provide ongoing support to retain customer programs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to client inquiries.
  • Report account status to internal management.
  • Recommend company products / services to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to strategize and secure new business.
  • Work with Program Managers to support product development and design transfer.
  • Mentor Associate Account Managers within the department.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction while optimizing profit margins.

Job Requirements :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey business and technical concepts effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams.
  • A proactive work ethic and strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and resource allocation.
  • A solid understanding of business and management principles, including resource allocation, leadership techniques, and production coordination.
  • Strong business judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to maintain and grow customer accounts.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Educational & Experience Requirements :

  • A four-year degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Account Management.
