Responsibilities
- Lead and manage QuEra's strategy, execution and service delivery to design, build, and validate various optical systems for neutral-atom quantum computers
- Ensure formal engineering practices evolve toward closer alignment with industry standards (e.g., documentation, tools)
- Be accountable for refining specifications of various optical systems or modules from R&D prototypes & lead efforts to standardize optical module designs
- Set up and maintain test stations to validate standard optical modules
- Collect feedback on optical modules from end users
- Develop and de-risk critical optical components to enable next generation QPU
