Job Title: Senior Director of Business Development

Our client, a growing contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive new client acquisition and expand existing partnerships within the biopharmaceutical industry. Reporting directly to executive branch, you will be responsible for executing commercial growth strategies, securing new contracts, and developing long-term client relationships.

With a strong market presence and continued investment in expanding capabilities, this is an excellent opportunity for a strategic sales leader to play a key role in the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
• Identify, target, and cultivate new business opportunities within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
• Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.
• Lead contract negotiations, including pricing and terms
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events to drive brand awareness.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Operations, Program Management, and Finance, to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform commercial strategy.
• Travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles within the CDMO, life sciences, or diagnostics industries.
• Proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities, with a strong track record of sales success.
• Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and commercialization strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly motivated, results-driven professional with the ability to work independently.
