Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Southern Maine

Work on innovative design projects across medical devices, consumer products like automotive mobility solutions, and industrial/military systems. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and production engineers, to deliver custom-engineered solutions tailored to client needs. This role also involves partnering with program managers and customers to ensure project success while contributing to research and development.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead mechanical design projects for products in diverse industries.
- Work with engineering teams to develop solutions from concept to completion.
- Design electro-mechanical systems using materials like plastics, metals, and 3D printing.
- Apply various manufacturing techniques and ensure designs meet production standards.
- Create CAD models, BOMs, and technical documentation with detailed specifications.
- Use design and analysis tools to optimize product performance.
- Prototype designs using 3D printing and ensure compliance with industry standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10 years of experience in electro-mechanical or product design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably SOLIDWORKS) and familiarity with manufacturing standards.
- Experience with product lifecycle tools and prototyping technologies is a plus.
