Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 by founder Dr. Keith Schroeder, Orthopedic Surgeon. His philosophy, which remains today, is to treat patients as you would want to be treated. It all begins with listening to our patients and taking the time to perform a thorough evaluation to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Barrington Orthopedic Specialists' physicians have remained the premier orthopedic providers of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients' bone, joint, and muscle injuries and conditions.
We are looking for a full-time ATC to join our team!
You would be under the direction of the Physician. General duties would include, obtaining history, physicals & vitals, preparing and maintaining the examination & procedure room(s), assist with examinations, and assisting with procedures and treatments. This individual is also responsible for applying casts, DMEs, removing sutures and assisting with injections. Educate patients on conditions and courses of treatment, and medications. Provide and demonstrate home exercise programs to patients along with processing required paperwork, patient call backs and medication refills.
Work shifts are based on the assigned physician.
Shifts will range Monday ~ Friday scheduled between the hours of 8:00am- 5:00pm & Saturday rotations 8am-12pm
Travel to all four locations required (Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove).
