Shift Leader

As a Shift Leader at Barrio Burrito Bar, you’ll be at the heart of our fast-paced operations, ensuring smooth and efficient shifts while maintaining high food quality and top-tier customer service. You’ll lead by example, guiding and supporting the team, keeping the kitchen running efficiently, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside your team in both front-of-house and kitchen operations, stepping in wherever needed to keep things moving.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Run efficient, high-energy shifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Train and support team members, ensuring smooth workflow and teamwork.
• Maintain food quality and safety standards, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and prepared properly.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including grilling, sautéing, assembling burritos, and ensuring proper food prep.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock ingredients during shifts.
• Ensure the restaurant remains clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handling guest concerns or special requests professionally.
• Assist with cash handling, register operations, and order accuracy.
• Step in to support kitchen, service, and cashier duties during peak hours.

What We’re Looking For: Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred.

• Strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and lead under pressure.
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable work ethic.
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment, food handling, and prep techniques is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.95 - $16.10 per hour
