Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for this role.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize dining flow.
• Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods, ensuring timely seating for all guests.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant’s offerings.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in Toast Point of Sale systems is preferred.
• Strong background in hospitality or restaurant environments is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to engage with guests effectively.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service while managing multiple tasks.
• Strong guest relations skills to enhance overall dining experience.
• A proactive approach to helping guests with their needs and inquiries.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.23 - $17.29 per hour
