We are looking for a talented creative Mixologist with a flair for cutting edge and creative concoctions We are seeking someone who is as passionate as we are about creating an exceptional guest experience, as well as being a master of their craft and wanting everyone to know it. The ideal candidate is someone who can assist leading a new bar team and is eager about implementing an inventive and visionary cocktail program for Barrio Social.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in all spirits, classic cocktails, and Old World wines
- Ability to design and implement recipes for a cocktail program with seasonal menu updates
- Ability to maintain a stocked and organized bar at all times
- Must be an effective communicator and able to lead cocktail training programs for teammates
- Provide excellent customer service and be able to precisely understand guests’ food and beverages need
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure with in a high volume environment with guests and staff at all times
- Have a solid repertoire of all classic and contemporary cocktails
- Ability to build multiple cocktails concurrently with efficiency and precision
- Maintain exceptional bar cleanliness and equipment to optimal specifications
- Comply with and enforce local and state alcohol awareness laws and procedures
- Ability to create complex garnishes and properly utilize these in drink presentations
- Ability to produce very creative, contemporary cocktails using smoke, dry ice, pyronetics, etc.
- Ability to describe and sell food and drink beverages to enhance the guests’ experience
- Perform all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by Manager
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Extensive cocktail recipe knowledge
- Knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese and New World wines and cocktails
- Creativity and talent in cocktail creation/presentation
- Sharp attention to detail and organization
- High level of passion for what you do
Requirements:
- Spirits/Cocktail knowledge
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bending, stretching, and moving intermittently
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Classic wine service knowledge
- Basic floor service
- Glassware knowledge
- Must be able to work in the United States
- ServSafe Certified
- TIPS Certified
Salary : $15 - $22
