Duties
- Diagnose and repair laptop hardware and software issues, ensuring high-quality service and timely resolution.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting on various laptop brands and models.
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to effectively diagnose and resolve laptop issues.
- Replace or repair defective components (e.g., screens, batteries, keyboards) using hand tools and other equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet service goals and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, upgrades, and customer interactions.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding laptop performance and usage.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in laptop technology and repair techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in laptop repair or a similar IT-related role, with strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with computer networking principles and software troubleshooting is advantageous.
