Printer Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Printer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating and maintaining printing equipment, troubleshooting software issues, and performing repairs as needed.

Duties:

- Operate printing machinery to produce high-quality prints
- Conduct regular maintenance on printers to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to printing equipment
- Repair and replace defective parts in printers
- Collaborate with service technicians for complex repairs
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix printer malfunctions
- Understand schematics and technical documentation for troubleshooting

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in software troubleshooting for printers
- Experience with hand tools for equipment repair
- Knowledge of computer networking to connect printers
- Mechanical aptitude for diagnosing printer issues
- Familiarity with IT concepts related to printer functionality
- Ability to interpret schematics for printer repair
- Understanding of computer hardware components in printers
- Experience with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
