What are the responsibilities and job description for the Montessori Classroom Assistant position at Barron Area School District?
As our school continues to grow, the Barron Area Montessori School is seeking a classroom assistant for 4 hours a day on student days. The assistant will provide classroom support to the Lead Teacher by providing small group skill work, individual learning opportunities, and modeling gracious behaviors throughout the day. Supervising children during specials and recess is also a part of this role.
It is expected that the candidate will exhibit a kind and consistent demeanor for the children to approach with questions and assistance with daily tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a love of encouraging children to learn and grow, will be comfortable working with ages 3 through 12, will be a team player, and is ready to work with our dedicated educational team.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.03 - $15.13 per hour
