What are the responsibilities and job description for the NCP Production Line First Shift position at Barron County Cheese LLC?
The schedule for this shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm but may vary due to the needs of the business, Monday through Friday.
Previous experience in an assembly line, production, or packaging environment - especially the food industry is preferred, but not necessary. No special education required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Work on production lines converting and packaging cheese products
- Help maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules.
- Help ensure only safe; quality products are produced for our customers by following all good manufacturing practices.
- Perform other position specific duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions at a 12th grade level or equivalent; in English and/or Spanish
- Strong Work Ethic and attendance record
- Possess attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work well with others; team oriented
- Able to use basic hand tools and equipment
- Dependable mode of transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Work 8-hour shifts
- Wear hair/beard net, gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment as required.

- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Lift/carry up to 75 pounds occasionally
