Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including low voltage and HVAC systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with facility users regarding maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively.
- Experience working with low voltage systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions.
- Military experience is appreciated but not required.
