Primary Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance performed and recorded as per PM schedule
- Emergency repairs performed as needed
- New equipment installed and set up to meet production requirements
- Maintenance materials and spare parts requisitioned, maintained, and monitored
- Outside contractors supervised
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsive to the Manufacturing Manager
- Performs machine and tooling, maintenance, adjustment, and repair
- Modifies or fabricates plant equipment as required
- Will assist in trouble-shooting equipment
- Participate in Safety Committee Meetings and implement Action Items
- Completes all work orders and submits them properly for input into computer
- Participates in facilities management planning
- Understand, follow, and implement AS9100 systems and procedures as appropriate to your department and/or area of responsibility.
- Initiate continuous improvement in your area of responsibility through the use of AVOs, CARs, and ECRs.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, i.e., brainstorming sessions, training, continuing educations, etc.
