Your Role as a Manufacturing Quality Technician
As a Manufacturing Quality Technician, you will be responsible for investment casting quality control, certifying the part and first articles processes, ensuring material integrity through spectrometer analysis, tensile testing, and Charpy bars and impact testing. You will work hands-on in our metallurgical lab to verify precision machining inspection standards for aerospace and defense components.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform spectrometer analysis to verify material compositions.
Conduct tensile testing and impact testing to evaluate mechanical properties.
Adhere to AS9100 quality standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Identify and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and process improvement techniques.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maintain precision machining inspection accuracy.
Maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures, certifications and quality reports.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality control or investment casting quality control (preferred).
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with spectrometers, tensile testing, and impact testing.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret material specifications.
- Degree in engineering, lab technology, or a related field (preferred).
