Melter Technician - Job Summary
We are seeking a Melter Technician to join our investment casting foundry team. This role is hands-on and involves operating induction furnaces, melting various alloys, and ensuring precise metal chemistry for high-quality castings used in aerospace and defense applications.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Operate induction furnaces and maintain proper melting techniques for investment casting.
✔ Read and interpret alloy specifications, ensuring accurate chemistry, temperature control, and pouring methods.
✔ Lead the casting team in following strict foundry safety protocols and quality procedures.
✔ Monitor and adjust heat treatment and melt parameters to ensure compliance with industry standards.
✔ Work collaboratively with manufacturing engineers to implement process improvements for efficiency and quality.
