What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Neurosurgeon position at Barrow Brain & Spine?
A globally recognized "privademics" medical practice, Barrow Brain and Spine is recruiting for a general neurosurgeon to help grow the neurosurgical program at their HonorHealth Deer Valley (DV) and Sonoran Crossing (SC) campuses. This position will start in 2026.
The recruit will develop an elective clinical practice focused on general neurosurgery. The surgeon would be integrated into the neurosurgery call schedule of a Level 1 trauma center at DV and level 3 spine trauma center at SC. They would join four other Barrow neurosurgeons that practice at these locations.
The new neurosurgeon would step into immediate surgical volume. Our DV and SC offices are in a rapidly growing area of northwest Phoenix with an excellent payer mix.
As a member of Barrow Brain and Spine, the neurosurgeon would have access to academic opportunities including teaching and research affiliated with the Honor Health Research Institute and Barrow Neurological Institute and neurosurgery residency program.
Board eligible recent graduates and board-certified candidates are welcome.
