Responsibilities :
The Technical Writer / Editor will support Barrow Wise's State of Maryland Department of General Services (DGS) project and perform the following duties :
- Assist in collecting and organizing information to prepare user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables or documents.
- Conduct research and ensure the use of proper technical terminology.
- Translate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and nontechnical personnel.
- Use the standard help compiler to prepare all online documentation (for applications built to run in a Windows environment).
- Assist in performing financial and administrative functions.
