Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and be proficient in various accounting practices. This role is pivotal in managing administrative tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall efficiency of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive work environment.
  • Oversee financial tasks including double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the organization's financial health.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in all accounting records.
  • Conduct account analysis and general ledger reconciliation to identify discrepancies.
  • Assist with tax preparation and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during public accounting reviews.
  • Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Supervise administrative staff and provide training as needed to ensure high performance.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis.
  • Familiarity with general ledger accounting systems and software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and external stakeholders.
