Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it’s the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

What You'll Do
Digital & Motion Design:
- Design and produce high-quality digital content (static, animated, and video formats) for paid media, social media platforms, and digital campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and others.
- Create engaging graphics, GIFs, videos, and stories for Barry’s social media channels, ensuring content is aligned with the brand, creative, and platform-specific.
- Develop motion graphics, animated videos, and video edits that reflect the energy of Barry’s fitness programs, events, influencer collaborations, and promotional content.
- Collaborate with marketing, copy, and video production teams to conceptualize and execute digital campaigns that resonate with our audience and drive engagement.
- Create compelling email marketing templates and assets, from design to execution, for campaigns that promote Barry’s products, events, and studio offerings. Optimize these emails for performance across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Stay current on trends in digital design, motion graphics, and email marketing to ensure Barry’s digital assets are fresh, innovative, and on-brand.
- Collaborate with the performance marketing team to test creative assets, optimize email designs, and adjust content based on campaign performance data and audience insights.
- Conceptualize and design original, on-brand graphics for retail collections, including prints, patterns, logos, and typography.
- Create innovative graphic applications for placement on retail apparel and accessories, including screen print graphics, embroidery, and repeat designs.
- Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and brand teams to align designs with seasonal goals, market trends, and Barry’s brand identity.
- Research trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to inspire new designs and elevate existing concepts.
- Prepare detailed technical packs with accurate scaling, placement, and color specifications for production.
- Plan and execute photo shoots for retail collections, including coordinating with photographers, stylists, and models to ensure designs are captured accurately and compellingly.
- Ensure brand consistency by working closely with the brand and marketing teams to maintain a cohesive visual language across both digital and retail touchpoints.
- Ensure a consistent visual identity across digital content and retail collections, adapting designs to fit specific platform or product requirements (e.g., Instagram stories vs. email campaigns vs. product prints).
- Work with the performance marketing team to test creative assets and optimize both digital and retail designs based on data insights and campaign results.
- Maintain organized, easily accessible digital and print assets for future use, ensuring the timely delivery of materials to support ongoing and upcoming campaigns.
- Create and maintain line sheets, look books, merchandising guides, and other retail tools in alignment with Barry’s brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- 5 years of experience in digital design, motion graphics, graphic design, or email marketing, preferably within the fitness or activewear sector.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Skilled in hand illustration, typography, and graphic design with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Experience creating digital content for paid media, social ads, email marketing campaigns, motion graphics, and video production.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including template design, audience segmentation, and optimization for performance.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and trends, with expertise in creating both organic and paid content.
- Strong knowledge of retail design, print techniques, and creating tech packs for production (screen print, embroidery, etc.).
- Experience in planning and executing photo shoots, including coordinating with photographers, stylists, and production teams.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in both digital design (motion, video, social content, and email marketing) and graphic design for retail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- A passion for fitness, wellness, and lifestyle branding, with a deep understanding of Barry’s energetic and premium fitness aesthetic.
