The Aftermarket Supply Chain Leader reports to the Director of Parts Operations and will have responsibility for supply chain operations including planning, buying and materials logistics management for the Aftermarket Parts operations business. The Aftermarket Supply Chain Leader will partner closely with the Customer Service and Divisional Global Supply Chain teams to deliver aftermarket parts to customers effectively and efficiently driving performance in alignment with our focus on People, Performance (KPI’s) and Products through the framework of the BW Way.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily buying, planning, and material handling, ensuring timely shipment and delivery of aftermarket parts.
Lead, mentor, and train team members to standardize and optimize processes.
Develop standard workflows, process improvements, and training materials.
Support strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiate supplier contracts (pricing, terms, delivery, penalties, etc.).
Hold suppliers accountable for meeting commitments aligned with customer expectations.
Review and approve purchase requisitions/orders within signing authority limits.
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
Contribute to strategic planning and lead team goal-setting, feedback, and evaluations.
Support hiring, disciplinary actions, and personal development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (APICS, CPM, or CPIM certification is a plus).
5 years of experience in procurement of industrial components/materials.
Knowledge of ERP systems (experience with Infor XA preferred).
Supervisory experience required and familiarity with inventory operations/logistics desired.
