Who You’ll Work With
As an independent division within Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Inc., ControlTech Automation (CTA) is a control panel integrator and fabricator for process, packaging, utility, and other industries. CTA is based in St. Louis and specializes in control panels for systems integrators and production facilities located throughout the United States. CTA can provide control solutions for a single piece of equipment, an entire process, or a complete plant. CTA has engineering design capabilities or will build panels from customer-supplied design packages.

What You’ll Do
Supply organization with project material and freight cost estimates
Monitor and fulfill purchase requests within timely manner
Analyze offers for best delivery outcome and costs savings opportunities
Actively work with suppliers and project team to resolve issues
Review and maintain reporting on delivery commitments
Follow up directly with suppliers and project team on outstanding items for resolution
Report supplier performance and delivery to appropriate team
Utilize purchasing system to facilitate change orders
Work with suppliers and project team to coordinate returns and warranty exchanges
Provide Accounts Payable with information to resolve invoicing discrepancies
Deliver complete and accurate communication on order finalization and delivery concerns
Charge time towards appropriate project budget
Project-related travel up to 10% may be required
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or similar field preferred
0-2 years of experience in a Buyer or Purchasing Agent role
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and purchasing software
Experience negotiating prices, terms, and conditions
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
