Project Manager, Computer Systems Validation

When you join Design Group as a Project Manager, Computer Systems Validation, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Regulatory Compliance Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.
What You’ll Do
You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.
- Lead teams of validation professionals, and provide subject matter expertise in the validation of a variety of computer, software, IT and IS solutions
- Prepare and execute computer system validation documents for a variety of distributed control, process control, and stand-alone computer and software systems
- Develop and execute computer system validation test scripts, including SFATs, HFATs, traceability matrices, IQs, and OQs
- Develop project scope statements, estimates, and proposals
- Assist in the development of policies, programs, and project master planning
- Interface with clients
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and FDA CQV methods and systems
- Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of 10 years of computer system validation experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other FDA regulated industries
- Experience in leading project teams focused on computerized system and software specification development, risk assessments, code reviews, and validation efforts
- Experience in managing scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk
- A solid understanding of GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
- A working knowledge of FDA Data Integrity requirements
- Exposure to data integrity risk and gap assessments
- Functional knowledge of Emerson DeltaV, Syncade, Allen Bradley PLC, Wonderware, OSI PI, or Rockwell software platforms
- Experience generating software development life cycle documentation such as FRSs, SDSs, HDSs, and configuration specifications
- Experience in team building, mentorship, and multi-disciplinary collaboration
- A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical degree
