Job Title : Jr. Graphic Designer

Barstool Sports is looking for a talented Jr. Graphic Designer. This position will work closely with mid and senior-level graphic designers to deliver entertaining and visually engaging content. Projects include thumbnail design, logo creation, photoshop compositing / illustrations, graphic templates, social posts, and more. This position will emphasize thumbnail / social media design and requires a complete understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite. Candidates must understand the Barstool brand and be capable of learning new skills on the fly. Please provide a reel of your motion graphic work and digital and print design portfolio.

Responsibilities

Assist with graphic templates, promos, and social media graphics
Design basic animations using digital assets in Adobe After Effects
Collaborate with team members to design and produce 5-10 professional-quality YouTube thumbnails each week
Develop new and imaginative thumbnail concepts based on video footage
Manipulate and retouch images
Create & edit graphics for social (YT, X, FB, IG)
Update existing print / digital materials, promos, decks, print / digital ads, and illustrations
Collaborate with teams across different disciplines (ad sales, marketing, merchandise, communications, etc.)
Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, with a focus on social media and developing trends

Qualifications

1 years of experience in graphic design and motion graphics

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ready and willing to take on any number of projects as needs arise, adjust priorities, and thrive in a creative and fast-paced environment

Ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly

Committed teammate able to give and receive constructive feedback

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
