Requirements / Qualifications

Must have high school diploma.

Must hold or be eligible to obtain, prior to employment, a valid CA Designated Subject Career Technical Education (CTE) credential with EL Authorization for the subject to be taught.

Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable work experience directly related to industry sector.

• One (1) of the years' experience must have occurred within the last five (5) years
• Two (2) years' work experience may be substituted with 48 semester units of post -secondary college level coursework related to the subject or 48 semester units of vocational training related to the subject.

Must attach required documents :

1. Letter from current and / or previous employer verifying industry sector work experience in industry sector.

2. Copy of Designated Subject (CTE) Credential

3. Resume

4. Three (3) signed letters of recommendation dated within the last two years.
