As a dishwasher at bartaco, your main responsibility is to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant by maintaining and organizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment. Here are the major responsibilities, essential physical requirements, and required knowledge and skills for the position:
- Organizing and Cleaning: Your primary responsibility is to organize and clean all dirty dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, and other items, ensuring they are properly loaded into the dishwasher for cleaning
- Removing Trash and Garbage: Regularly emptying the dishwasher to remove water, trash, and garbage from the restaurant and disposing of it in the designated dumpster
- Floor Maintenance: Rolling and unrolling mats to clean the floors and maintaining a clean and safe dishwashing station
- Preparation of Food: The dishwasher may assist with food item preparation

Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Attitude: Bringing an energetic hustle and positive attitude to every shift
- Physical Movements: The position may require sitting, climbing, stooping, and kneeling to perform tasks effectively
- Endurance: Must be able to tolerate long periods of being on their feet to manage the continuous flow of dirty dishes and maintain a clean dishwashing station
