Position Overview:
Bartell Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Revenue Manager to oversee revenue strategies across multiple properties within our portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing profitability by developing and implementing revenue management initiatives tailored to each hotel, while ensuring a cohesive strategy that drives overall performance. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-property experience, exceptional analytical abilities, and a talent for optimizing pricing and distribution channels. If you excel at revenue forecasting, market analysis, and team leadership, this is a prime opportunity to make an impact across our hotels. This position is remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our diverse collection of properties.
Candidate must reside in San Diego County and be able to attend regular scheduled in-person meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead revenue management strategies for multiple properties, ensuring alignment with market conditions, hotel goals, and overall portfolio performance.
- Develop pricing models, forecasting, and yield management strategies across the hotel portfolio to maximize revenue.
- Conduct detailed market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities and adjust strategies in real-time.
- Collaborate closely with property General Managers, Sales, and Marketing teams to align revenue strategies with promotional and sales initiatives.
- Optimize distribution channels across properties, ensuring best-in-class practices for OTAs, direct bookings, and third-party partnerships.
- Monitor key performance indicators (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy) for each property and adjust strategies accordingly to achieve revenue targets.
- Oversee budgeting, revenue planning, and reporting processes.
- Create and distribute comprehensive performance reports across the portfolio, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership and property teams.
- Train and mentor on-property teams at individual properties, fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.
- Stay ahead of market trends, technological advancements, and competitive shifts to ensure the hotels maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel revenue management, with at least 2 years of multi-property or area experience.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth across multiple hotels and optimizing pricing strategies.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in RMS, PMS, and market analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and properties.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the San Diego hospitality market or similar competitive landscapes is a plus.
