ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for a CONFERENCE SERVICE MANAGER
Albert Hotel is located on a three-acre site from 242 to 248 East Main Street, Fredericksburg, TX. The hotel itself is tucked away from Main Street located behind the original historic buildings, creating a peaceful escape offering quiet sophistication just off bustling Main Street. The hotel has 110 guest rooms, including bunkrooms, suites, and a private house, and each room will have tailored amenities, custom-designed furniture, and little extras to make guests feel at home. The property has three restaurants, one bar, a private dining room, and will offer in-room dining. Guests can enjoy the inviting outdoor lagoon-style pool, a fitness center, and a 2,000 sq. foot full-service spa. The property is ideal for hosting events, with a 3,600 square-foot event space and a 1,200 square-foot mezzanine deck and event lawn.
What you'll do :
- Manage events and group room blocks booked by the sales department, not limited to BEO detailing, group resumes, group rooms, billing, final audits, and follow-up
- Prepare group and event resumes, BEO packets, billing, and other documents in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist with reservations, billing, and special requests for room blocks and events
- Assist with site visits, pre-event, and on-site communication with clients
- Act as a guest liaison during group programming ensuring overall guest satisfaction and daily needs are met
- Assist with last-minute requests (guest count changes, updating BEO and reservation systems, communicating with teams to keep them updated, etc.)
- Maintain detailed and meticulously organized account files, system profiles, and accurate system data
- Participate in the hotel’s weekly resume and BEO meetings to review group business and upcoming events with the operations team
- Assist in the development and implementation of special projects as assigned
