Position Overview:
We are seeking a Commercial Sales Representative with proven experience in the waste and recycling industry, specifically selling front-load dumpster service. The ideal candidate will have an existing network, a deep understanding of commercial waste needs, and a hunter mentality for securing new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial, industrial, and municipal customers.
- Sell new front-load dumpster service contracts, including 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10-yard containers.
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead generation.
- Conduct site evaluations to recommend the right service solutions for customers.
- Prepare and present professional proposals and service agreements.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain CRM documentation of all prospecting and sales activities.
- Represent BSSI professionally at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in waste and recycling sales, with a focus on front-load dumpster service.
- Proven sales track record
- Strong knowledge of container sizes, service frequencies, pricing structures, and local waste/recycling regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting aggressive performance goals.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
