This role will focus on managing and scaling our paid media programs, with an emphasis on digital performance marketing (Google, Meta, and programmatic), while also expanding our footprint across offline channels such as TV, direct mail, and out-of-home (OOH). You will help shape the strategy and own execution across the funnel, working closely with internal teams and external partners to drive efficient customer growth and maximize ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Performance Marketing Manager at Bartesian, you’ll lead our customer acquisition efforts and performance channels:
Paid Media Strategy & Execution:
- Strategy Development: Build and execute a robust, data-driven media plan across paid search, paid social, programmatic display, and video to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Offline Expansion: Lead planning and execution for offline channels including TV, direct mail, and out-of-home (OOH), ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
- Agency & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with media agencies and external partners to optimize performance and stay ahead of platform best practices.
Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Performance Optimization: Continuously test and refine campaigns across channels to improve efficiency, scale spend effectively, and maximize return on ad spend.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner with the internal creative team to develop high-performing, on-brand creative and messaging for both digital and offline campaigns.
- Audience Strategy: Leverage first-party data and audience insights to build targeted media plans and personalized customer acquisition and remarketing strategies.
Data & Analytics:
- Measurement & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights and clear recommendations for improvement.
- Attribution & Testing: Implement best-in-class measurement frameworks, including attribution modeling and incrementality testing, to understand true media impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Team Alignment: Work closely with the Lifecycle, Influencer, and Organic Social teams to ensure consistency between acquisition and retention strategies, and share learnings across the funnel.
- Sales & Product Insights: Collaborate with the Product, Operations, and Customer Service teams to align marketing efforts with inventory, promotions, and consumer trends.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for an ambitious and analytical marketer with the following experience and skills:
- Experience: 4 years in performance marketing with a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand, with hands-on experience managing paid search (Google), paid social (Meta), and programmatic campaigns. Experience with offline channels (TV, direct mail, OOH) is strongly preferred.
- Media Management: Proven ability to manage significant media budgets and optimize efficiency and scale.
- Analytical Expertise: Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics, data analysis, and attribution. Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Agency/Vendor Management: Experience leading external agencies and partners, with a track record of delivering against growth goals.
- Creative Thinker: Ability to collaborate on compelling creative concepts that align with brand strategy and resonate with target audiences.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Self-Starter: A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving results and continuous improvement.
