Part time-- Monday-Thursday Hours 4:00-6:45pm.

Job Summary:
The Preschool Recreational coach will work with of all ages 3-4 years old, teaching motor skills such as jumping and running to gymnastic basics such as forward rolls, backward roll, cartwheel, handstand, and trampoline jumps. The coach must observe and spot athletes as they perform on the various apparatus, coach on technique, progression, and provide a positive and supportive environment for the athletes to achieve personal and team goals.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with kids of all ages, primarily ages 3-4 years old
- Ability to demonstrate, correct, and coach recreational gymnastics. We prefer prior experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, or tumbling as a coach or athlete.
- Create and lead lesson plans
- Willingness to learn and lead active games with kids
- Ability to send email, texts, and answer phone calls with customers
- Maintain cleanliness of gym
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Skill Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate, correct, and coach recreational gymnastics
- Must have passion and experience for working with toddlers
- Prefer prior experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, or tumbling as a coach or athlete
- Knowledge of gymnastics skills, techniques, safety, and progressions
- Profound love of children of all ages
- Must be able to work afternoons, evenings, and some weekends (mostly birthday parties)
- Ability to spot gymnasts in a safe manner which can include climbing, balancing, crouching, crawling, pulling, extensive reaching overhead, swooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to communicate with various individuals
- Proficiency in English language (reading, writing, verbal)
- Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills
- Must be able to pass is USA Gymnastics Background screening
