What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Maker position at Bartlett Cabinet, Inc.?
BARTLETT CABINETRY, is a custom cabinet shop specializing in high-end residential cabinetry. We are located in Oakland near the San Leandro border and close to BART.
We are currently seeking skilled to very skilled individuals for the full-time positions of Cabinet Maker and Shop Project Manager.
Qualities we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
CABINET MAKER
1) Possess a fundamental understanding of cabinet construction, Euro and face frame
2) Possess your own tools (drills, chisels, squares, rules and planes, etc.)
3) Attentiveness to the quality of your work as well as the quality of all work in the shop
4) Detail oriented
5) Reliable
6) Takes direction and works well with others
SHOP PROJECT MANAGER
1) Proficient in the above skill set with additional experience in the following tasks:
2) Reading and interpreting plans and detailed drawings
3) Estimating, design and engineering cabinetry using Cabinet Vision.
4) Knowledge of other CAD programs and software a plus
5) Order materials for projects, monitoring labor and material costs
6) Assist with setting up projects for production
7) Quality control management before each project is delivered
8) Able to manage schedules and resources utilizing time management skills
9) Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate projects with contractors
10) Maintain oversight and tracking of all inventory items, from big to small, required for 100% completion of all current and future projects scheduled.
11) Work closely with owner on projects.

Full-time position
40-hour week comprised of four (4) 10 hr. days
Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM with occasional over-time.
