Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance

Summary of Position

A seasonal position that is part-time and possibly full time based on experience and scheduling needs of the candidate. This position aids the golf course maintenance staff related to mowing and course conditioning.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Must have an outgoing, positive personality, excellent communication skills and possess the ability to multi task.

• Duties will include the operations of small equipment, such as trimmers, fly, walking and front rotary mowers.

• Experience in operating utility vehicles is a must.

• Able to learn quickly and follow all safety instructions.

• Daily course tasks will include but are not limited to:

o Proper water management

o Course prep and set up

o Irrigation maintenance

o Record keeping

• Able to work in a team environment and present a professional demeanor in and appearance.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability

• One year of landscaping preferred

• Valid NYS Driver’s License

• Be able to communicate professionally and pleasantly to members.

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
