The Basics
Location: Cherryvale, KS
Compensation: $25/hr and up
Days/Hours: Our maintenance crew needs to cover repairs and troubleshooting 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. As such, our Maint Techs will be rotating shifts and working on call to be sure we can support operations at all times. We are looking for candidates who understand these demands and are willing to be flexible.

- Properly maintain work areas and company issued property
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks per CMMS
- Prioritize tasks with the supervisor
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment
- Recommend changes, modifications, or upgrades of equipment to improve machine reliability and performance
- Removal and installation of motors, blowers, and various equipment
- Termination of wire at components
- Troubleshooting of 480-volt 3-phase electrical distribution systems
- Troubleshooting of control systems
- Upgrading of outdated systems and components
- Capable of effectively communicating with program/software providers to troubleshoot electronics and automation
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, or elevator is preferred
- Reliable transportation
- For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- This job can be physically strenuous
- You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- You will work at heights
- You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
