The Wine Stocker is an hourly position responsible for servicing customers by maintaining the Farm retail wine department conformance with established Farm policies, strategies, and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate must enjoy speaking with people about wine & beer in order to increase sales in the department. Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority to provide the highest level of customer service and responsiveness to the needs of patrons served by the Farm.
- Provides courteous and attentive service to customers by answering questions, directing them to products, and keeping beer and wine storage clean and orderly. Stays familiar with retail layout and products.
- Responsible for maintaining and stocking product displays. Ensures products are properly rotated, organized, stocked, labeled and clean.
- Responsible for backstocking products on a regular basis, able to lift 50 pounds with ease.
- Communicates with Wine & Cheese Manager when product is low.

Position Requirements :
Previous customer service experience, preferred. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skill, ability to multitask and adapt to new processes. Must possess strong work ethic and good follow through. Some wine and / or beer knowledge preferred. Must possess strong work ethic be physically fit and able to stand and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
