Part-Time Job Opportunity:
JOB SUMMARY: The Golf Course Ranger/Starter is responsible for directing players in the proper manner of play and proper observance of the course rules and regulations. This is an at-will position. Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Oversee first tee (starting groups, verifying receipts, recording cart numbers)
- Enforce established rules of course among golfers
- Manage water coolers on the course
- Receives and responds to complaints from golfers
- Responsible for driving, preparing, cleaning, and organizing golf carts for guests
- Report any golf course maintenance or cart issues to the Manager
- Attend District-wide part-time staff orientations, crisis trainings and office trainings as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age with knowledge of the game of golf. Excellent customer service and people skills with a courteous and friendly personality is crucial. Ability to learn policies, rules & regulations of the course essential.
SCHEDULE & PAY: This is a part-time, seasonal position. Hours are flexible and include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hiring pay range is $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications.
