Bartlett Regional Hospital seeks an experienced professional to fill a Medical Assistant I/II position in our Surgery & Specialty Clinic. We're looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our dynamic surgery clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care and medical procedures
- Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
We offer competitive compensation packages based on experience, including:
Compensation:
- Medical Assistant I: $21.74 /hr, depending on experience
- Medical Assistant II: $25.52 /hr, depending on experience
Requirements:
Medical Assistant I:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 12 months of clerical experience in a healthcare setting required; or 6 months as a Certified Nurse Aid
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of appointment
Medical Assistant II:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant I; or 6 months performing ambulatory or medical care working directly with patients; or 3 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of appointment
