JOB SUMMARY
The Radiologic Technologist, under direction of a qualified physician, radiologist, diagnostic imaging manager, assistant manager and diagnostic imaging coordinator performs responsible technical work involving the taking of medical x-ray radiographs and procedures to assist medical practitioners in detection and diagnosis of diseases and injuries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School diploma or the equivalent AND a 24-month program or equivalent in radiological health science technology approved by the American Medical Association. Completes annual educational requirements.
- License(s) / Certification(s): American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) eligibility. New graduate, registry eligible acceptable.
Experience: None
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: This position starts at $32.25 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
