Overview
The Bartlett Tree Research Laboratory (Charlotte, NC) is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Facilities & Systems team. This position entails working with of a variety of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems situated within multiple buildings and across the grounds of a 350-plus acre property. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES- Repair/replacement of light bulbs, light fixtures, receptacles, and switches on various electrical systems.
- Maintenance of sinks, faucets, and water closets on various plumbing systems.
- Installation and repair of new and existing irrigation systems.
- Maintenance of fencing and automatic gate controls.
- Maintenance of multiple heating and air conditioning systems.
- Maintenance of multiple water wells.
- Small engine operation and repair.
- Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the crew leader or designated supervisor or local manager
