Job Description
As an Arborist Representative, you will be responsible for visiting client properties, assessing their tree and shrub care needs, and providing scientific recommendations. Key responsibilities include:
- Selling and marketing tree care services to residential and commercial clients
- Meetings with existing and potential clients to evaluate their needs
- Establishing and maintaining positive business relationships within a defined territory
- Preparing and presenting proposals using sales process tools and software
- Supervising work to ensure jobs are completed according to contract and client satisfaction
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain (costs covered by the company)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or a related field preferred but not required
