Certified Nursing Assistant
We're seeking a dedicated individual to provide vital support across inpatient and long-term care settings. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Observing residents and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Providing personal hygiene care, including bed baths and shaving
- Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake
- Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
- Maintaining residents' space cleanliness and tidiness
- Transporting residents within the facility
- Preventing bedsores by turning bedridden residents
- Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inpatient settings or long-term care preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology essential
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and genuine desire to help others
- State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
