Overview

What will I do:

As a Systems and Technology Trainer, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering training programs and communications aimed at enhancing the performance of both internal and external customers with our core technologies. This role entails developing an advanced skillset in operating our key systems and understanding how employees utilize them for business purposes. It requires the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner to facilitate user adoption and performance success. You'll collaborate with partners to create engaging co-facilitation and training materials. Additionally, you'll proactively identify knowledge and skill gaps through needs analysis and propose effective training solutions.

Applicants ideally possess general systems and technology knowledge, with preferred experience in adult learning and curriculum development techniques. They should demonstrate effective facilitation techniques and experience in hosting training sessions in both live and virtual settings.

A Day in the Life: Systems & Technology Trainer

Your day kicks off with a check-in with the IT and Talent Development teams to stay ahead of upcoming system updates, new software rollouts, or process changes that will impact employees. You review feedback from previous training sessions, identifying areas where users are struggling and strategizing how to enhance engagement.

By mid-morning, you’re facilitating a live training session with a new cohort of recruiters and account managers, walking them through essential CRM and ATS functionalities, ensuring they feel confident using the systems to track client interactions and candidate placements. Your approach is interactive—using real-world scenarios, role-playing, and quick polls to keep engagement high.

After a lunch break, you dive into content creation. You’re developing an e-learning module on a newly implemented system update, leveraging video walkthroughs and quizzes to reinforce key learnings. You also draft an internal communication piece breaking down the update in layman’s terms so employees can easily grasp the changes.

In the afternoon, you conduct a 1:1 coaching session with a tenured employee who is struggling with a new software enhancement. You provide hands-on support and personalized tips to help them integrate the tool into their workflow.

Before wrapping up, you meet with department leaders to analyze system adoption data and identify skill gaps. You propose a customized learning plan to help increase efficiency and system compliance. As you log off, you feel accomplished knowing your work is directly improving how employees leverage technology to drive business success.
